Girish Johar who was heading the Distribution & Acquisition for Balaji Motion Pictures will be joining the SAHARA Motion Pictures as the Head of Distribution & Acquisition. He will be overlooking the company’s distribution & acquisitions in the national and overseas markets. SAHARA is planning a big foray in the entertainment industry and is strengthening their team with key team member appointments.
With around 18 years of experience in the film and entertainment industry, Johar has successfully released and marketed more 120 films, till date including Godzilla, Men In Black, Jodhaa Akbar, A Wednesday, Fashion, Dev.D, Race, Wake Up Sid, The Dirty Picture, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, Shootout At Wadala, Lootera and many more.
Prior to Balaji, he was the National Head for UTV for all the Disney releases and also has a vast experience with UTV, Sony Pictures and PVR.
